Rob Van Dam AEW Debut Match Announced

After appearing on AEW Dynamite 200, Rob Van Dam’s debut match has been announced and it’s coming sooner than you’d think!

With Jerry Lynn unable to compete against Jack Perry, the ECW Legend called in an old friend from back in the day in the form of WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam.

Suffice to say, Tony Khan has plans for RVD and that includes his debut match that will take place on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

RVD wouldn’t be too happy with Jack Perry making a run for it and would later challenge the former Jungle Boy to a match for the FTW Championship.

The match has been confirmed and will take place on the August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, and will be under “FTW Rules”.

Since becoming FTW Champion, Perry has been less than complimentary about the championship or ECW in general.

Bully Ray recently weighed in on the subject, suggesting that an appearance from himself or Tommy Dreamer could boost AEW ratings.
