AEW star and former AEW World Trios Champion Malakai Black has competed in his first singles match since 2022.
Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2021, Malakai Black won the AEW World Trios Championships alongside the House of Black and put on many memorable bouts.
However, one thing that has been lacking from Black’s AEW run so far is singles matches.
With a majority of his work consisting in the AEW trios division, Black hasn’t competed in a singles match since September 2022 and since June 2022 in All Elite Wrestling.
On February 18, the Dark Arts Gym, the training school of Malakai Black and his wife Zelina Vega of WWE, released a show on their YouTube channel with matches between their students.
In the main event of the show, Black competes in a singles match with AEW commentator Tony Schiavone on the call.
Malakai Black is currently involved in a rivalry alongside House of Black with Mark Briscoe.
