A top AEW star has been pulled from an upcoming Wrestling REVOLVER show, being replaced by another AEW star.

Jon Moxley was scheduled for this Thursday’s (August 3) Wrestling REVOLVER Heat Em Up show, but that will no longer be the case.

In a video message, the former AEW World Champion revealed that he will no longer be on the show due to ‘reasons out of his control’.

He then announced his replacement for the show as Konosuke Takeshita, a man Moxley called ‘one of the best wrestlers in the world’.

Moxley and Takeshita have had something of a soft alliance on AEW television in recent weeks heading into the Blood and Guts match against the Elite.

Callis ended up pulling Takeshita from the match, leaving the Blackpool Combat Club to lose to the Elite in the big match.

Moxley is still scheduled for tomorrow night’s (August 2) episode of Dynamite, where he will face both Trent Beretta and Penta El Zero M in an ‘Anything Goes’ three-way main event on Dynamite 200.
