AEW star Hangman Adam Page is expected to take time off after tonight’s AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view according to a new report.
Page’s status heading into the match was unclear, as an injury storyline began on TV which some thought would write him out of tonight’s match with Samoa Joe and Swerve Strickland.
However, Page did end up working the three-way tonight, but it may have been his last match for a while.
After his loss at tonight’s Revolution pay-per-view, Fightful Select has confirmed that Hangman Adam Page is set to take time off.
The expected length of Hangman’s time off “could be a few months,” according to the report.
In the AEW World Championship match, Hangman ‘attacked’ two referees during the course of the match, perhaps signaling a storyline suspension on the horizon, which would be a way to write him off TV until he returns.
Samoa Joe retained his All Elite Wrestling World Championship over Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page as Page tapped out to Joe’s submission hold.
Elsewhere during Revolution, Timeless Toni Storm retained her AEW Women’s World Championship by beating Deonna Purrazzo.
