Another AEW name has been confirmed for an upcoming tournament featuring Bryan Danielson on tonight’s Collision.
CJ Perry has returned to professional wrestling and was on the hunt for someone to manage, until recently involving herself with Andrade el Idolo.
In a backstage interview segment with Lexy Nair on tonight’s Collision, Perry informed Andrade el Idolo and fans that she had spoken to Tony Khan and gotten Andrade entered into a prestigious tournament.
Referencing the upcoming AEW Continental Classic, CJ Perry was confident in his chances to win the tournament.
Also noting that if he won, Andrade would get a bonus, he was at first a bit hesitant but after Perry whispered something in his ear, he agreed to enter.
Bryan Danielson was previously confirmed for the AEW Continental Classic as a field of “12 top AEW stars” having been confirmed.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Collision, a big stipulation was added to an upcoming AEW Full Gear 2023 as a title bout has now become a ladder match.
