AEW World Champion MJF Accepts Mysterious Title Challenge AEW

AEW World Champion MJF has accepted a mysterious title challenge as he was again surrounding by masked men.

While Samoa Joe and MJF were in the ring together ahead of their AEW World Championship match set for AEW Worlds End, mystery men struck again.

This time however, a gaggle of shrouded figures ran out first before then four individuals in the Devil hoodies that have been seen in the past emerged through the crowd.

While those four surrounded the ring, the arena lights went out as a written message appeared on the screen for fans in the arena and at home to read themselves (no voiceover this time!)

However with a challenge for the ROH Tag Titles next week on Dynamite, as MJF began to accept it was actually Samoa Joe who formally accepted.

MJF and Samoa Joe will defend the ROH Tag Team Championship against two mystery opponents next week on Dynamite (December 27) mere days before the pair go up against one another at Worlds End.

Later in a backstage segment, MJF saw a ski mask on the ground outside of the Mogul Embassy locker room and directly asked Swerve Strickland if he was the Devil.

Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, AEW has confirmed that a top star is out of action ‘indefinitely’.

Also Christian Cage responded to Adam Copeland’s challenge at AEW Worlds End with an announcement about an upcoming response. You can click here to read more about the prepared statement that was read by Tony Schiavone on behalf of the TNT Champion.
