On tonight’s (August 26) episode of WWE SmackDown, another WWE fan favorite returned and appeared with a classic spot.
After last week’s SmackDown saw a Viking funeral for the New Day, Xavier Woods returned, although initially appeared in a wheelchair.
While his nWo style New Day shirt (new Day rocks of course!) should have been a clue, when he finally “pulled a Big Daddy Cool,” as Pat McAfee put it on commentary and stood up the wheelchair to strike, the live crowd went wild.
Elsewhere on the show, Drew McIntyre faced off against Sami Zayn who was acting on orders from the Tribal Chief himself, Roman Reigns.
Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns are set to face off at Clash at the Castle for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the WWE’s first premium live event in the UK in many years.
WWE SmackDown in Detroit tomorrow, August 26 will see two episodes being taped as there will be no live show next Friday, September 2 as talent will be busy preparing for for Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales.
