Backstage details on Road Dogg’s WWE return have been revealed.
In August, WWE announced that Road Dogg Brian James had returned to the company under the role of Senior Vice President of Live Events.
PWInsider provided an update, noting that James commenced his duties for the position a few weeks ago with the belief that he officially started the last week of August.
The WWE Hall of Famer took over the position originally held by Jeff Jarrett prior to his departure.
Road Dogg was released from WWE in January 2022 after working as a writer and producer.
His return to the promotion marked a known member of Triple H’s inner circle coming back to the company since The Game’s promotion to Head of Creative and EVP of Talent Relations.
As previously mentioned, Triple H heading up the new regime of WWE has led to many believing a “changing of the guard” is coming backstage in the company.
