Bobby Fish has provided updates on Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly during their absences from the ring.
The Undisputed Elite have been unlucky with injuries this year. Adam Cole has been dealing with a torn labrum for a large portion of 2022, and hasn’t wrestled since suffering a concussion at Forbidden Door in June.
O’Reilly also last wrestled in June, taking time away from the ring to deal with multiple issues.
On the Two Man Power Trip podcast, Bobby Fish noted that he’s the only one of the trip who’s fully healthy, but believes that it won’t be long until Cole and O’Reilly are cleared to return.
Commenting on the group’s absence from the AEW Trios Tag Team Championship tournament, Fish said:
“We weren’t going to be able to do it, all three of us, at the time that we needed to be. Plans had to be shifted. Much like everything in pro wrestling, it’s all subject to change. This, unfortunately, is one of those things that became subject to change.
“Right now, I’m the only one who is fully healthy. It’s just a matter of the boys getting back. It won’t be long, but that’s where we are at the moment, just giving the boys a little time to heal and then we’ll get this thing going again.”
Cole, Fish and O’Reilly most recently appeared on AEW TV on the August 3 edition of Dynamite, turning on the Young Bucks.
Fish last wrestled for AEW during the July 13 Dark taping, but was in action for DEFY earlier this month.
