5. Charles Wrong
On the latest episode of WWE Photo Shoot, The Godfather admits the finish to WrestleMania VIII’s main event was botched partly due to himself. As witch doctor Papa Shango, he was supposed to break up Hogan’s pin-fall on Sid Justice but the road agents mistimed the signal and also miscalculated the half-mile Papa would need to run to reach the ring and by the time he was told to go-go-go, Sid had kicked out. The DQ finish continued as planned but due to the delay, Sid was forced to kick out of the Leg Drop Of Doom, something that gave him bragging rights. For a week. Before he failed a drug test/quit/softball started.
Honorable Mention…
Alright this caused a lot of debate on Twitter the day it happened so I’m including it in the bit at the end instead of on the main list. So Seth brings in a chair, Elias DDTs him on it and the ref…doesn’t call for a DQ and Elias wins the match. This confused the hell out of me but Lance Storm explained:
We actually had a meeting once and addressed this. Since Seth introduced the chair, and Elias just did a legal maneuver, too bad for Seth, No DQ. https://t.co/Oni4rt9x3e

Basically the same reason you don’t get DQ’d for using the steel steps and announce tables but get DQ’d for using tables in the ring. It’s still weird to me, dammit.
