Brandi Rhodes Reveals Major WWE Match She’d Come Out Of Retirement For AEW

Brandi Rhodes has revealed a WWE ‘dream match’ she would return to the ring for without question.

Although many speculated that the former AEW Chief Branding Officer would follow Cody Rhodes back to WWE in some capacity, that has of course never happened beyond a brief spell training at the Performance Center.

While she did recently address prior talks with WWE regarding a role for her in the future, the physical demands as well as that of her and Cody’s young daughter Liberty meant that wasn’t something she wished to pursue further.

However, there is one match that would change that stance entirely, as Brandi revealed to D.S. Shin of Ring The Belle, saying:

“Stephanie (McMahon) and Triple H (would be the dream mixed tag match that I’d want). 100 percent.

“I would come out of retirement for that in a heartbeat and I would do it at 72 years old. Y’all would have to sit through that and just let it happen.

“I know it wouldn’t be great, but just let it happen, if it does because I mean, the chances of it happening are very, very slim.

“If that was on the table, you’d have grandma in the gym. I’d be doing everything I possibly could. I’d be getting into full lotus in my yoga studio just to stretch Stephanie a little bit.”

While the chances are slim for Brandi to return to the ring, they are undoubtedly even slimmer for both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

14-time world champion Triple H retired from in-ring competition officially at WrestleMania 38 after undergoing heart surgery the year prior, while Stephanie no longer works for WWE, announcing her departure from her role as co-CEO in early 2023.
