Popular Star Wrestles First Full WWE Match In Two Years WWE

WWE star Carlito has now wrestled his first full match for the company in a number of years, following his brief in-ring outing at Fastlane.

At the October 7 premium live event, Carlito officially returned to WWE, revealing himself to be the mystery tag-team partner of Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar for their match against Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits.

Carlito didn’t wrestle the whole match, only appearing towards the end to help the LWO score a trios victory.

The returning star has now wrestled his first full match since signing with WWE over the summer, competing at Saturday’s (October 14) WWE house show in Kansas City, MO.

At this show, Carlito teamed with Joaquin Wilde to defeat Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of the Street Profits.

Carlito was also in action at Sunday’s house show in Springfield, MO, once again defeating the Street Profits alongside Wilde.

Prior to his WWE returns this year, Carlito made two in-ring appearances for WWE in 2021, competing in that year’s Royal Rumble match, before teaming with Jeff Hardy to defeat Elias & Jaxson Ryker on the February 1, 2021 edition of Raw the night after the Rumble.

Before Fastlane 2023 however, Carlito’s last match as a signed WWE talent took place at a WWE Superstars taping in May 2010.

Carlito recently noted that be believes ‘miscommunication on both sides‘ delayed his eventual WWE return.
