An update has emerged on price changes for the NBCU Peacock streaming service, the home of the WWE Network in the US.
Per Variety, the platform will soon have a price increase for the first time since 2020.
Starting from August 17 for existing customers on their next billing cycle, the price of Peacock Premium (with ads) will go up by one dollar to $5.99 per month.
Peacock Premium Plus (mostly commercial-free) will go up by two dollars to $11.99 a month.
These are the prices that new customers will have to pay to sign up from today.
This comes after the streaming service got rid of its free subscription tier earlier this year.
The platform has been the home of WWE content in the US since March 2021, after a deal was made for exclusive US distribution rights that January.
It was touted in April that the platform had reached the milestone of 22 million subscribers.
WWE’s most recent premium live event, Money in the Bank 2023, emanated from the O2 Arena in London, England.
The next WWE special will be SummerSlam 2023, which is set to take place on August 5 at the Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
