How AEW Collision Lead In Affected Battle Of The Belts VII Viewership AEW

The ratings for last night’s AEW Battle of the Belts VII show on TNT have been revealed.

This edition of the show took place on Saturday night (July 15) straight after AEW Collision, and the Collision lead in had a big impact on the overall viewership of the show.

Per Wrestlenomics, the Battle of the Belts show drew in 524,000 viewers, as well as scoring a 0.15 in the key 18-49 demographic.

This gives Battle of the Belts VII the third highest viewership for a Battle of the Belts special, and the highest rating for the special since the second edition of the event.

The show saw Luchasaurus defend his TNT Championship against Shawn Spears, as well as Orange Cassidy defending the AEW International Championship against Lance Archer.

The AEW Women’s World Championship match between Toni Storm and Taya Valkyrie had the ending of the match cut out due to storms in the area.

Saturday night’s episode of Collision drew in 579,000 total viewers, holding steady from the prior week’s viewership.
