Ex-WWE Star Looking To Sign New Contract After Coming Out Of Retirement WWE

An update has emerged on D-Von Dudley’s in-ring future following his return to the ring at IMPACT 1000.

The WWE Hall of Famer came out of retirement earlier this month at the IMPACT 1000 taping, where he teamed with Bully Ray to face off against Champagne Singh & Rohit Raju.

This marked D-Von’s first match since December 2016, with the former WWE star overcoming a number of health issues during his time away from the ring.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, D-Von is now fully out of retirement, and is seeking a deal with IMPACT Wrestling.

Meltzer noted:

“D-Von Dudley, he did an autograph thing yesterday, and mentioned that he’s trying to get a deal going with IMPACT. He is out of retirement.

“He was let go by WWE as a producer, and you know, gotta pay the bills. Guess he wants to revive the Dudley brothers, or feud with Bubba, I suppose he could do that too.

“The Dudleys as a team, I suppose they could be heels, but people probably want them as a team as faces in this stage of the game. But whatever.

“He’s wanting to go back to wrestling, whether it’s indies, whether it’s IMPACT or whatever, he’s back on the market as a wrestler.”
