Drew McIntyre has once again mocked CM Punk ahead of his upcoming Raw return, working out to the song ‘Cry Me A River’.
CM Punk’s WrestleMania dreams came crashing down during his return match at the Royal Rumble, when he suffered a torn triceps injury following a Future Shock DDT from Drew McIntyre.
Since the injury, McIntyre has taken many shots at Punk both on television and on social media, and the latest shot may be his most savage yet.
Taking to Twitter to react to Punk’s recent training video, McIntyre shared his own workout video, saying he looks forward to seeing Punk in Chicago.
McIntyre’s song choice was the Justin Timberlake song ‘Cry Me A River’, which is an obvious reference to the quote from Jack Perry at AEW All In that reportedly led to the backstage altercation that ultimately ended up with Punk being fired from AEW.
McIntyre is set to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship on night two of WrestleMania 40.
Punk seemingly provided an update on his status for the show on this week’s Raw, which you can see here.
