Drew McIntyre has reacted to WWE ‘insulting’ him in response to a ‘McInCryer’ post on their official Twitter account.
McIntyre is currently set to face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 on April 6 & 7, 2024.
Rollins hasn’t been his only target or late, with McIntyre also aiming both barrels at the injured-CM Punk, going so far as to reference the AEW All Out media scrum that saw a number of stars suspended.
Recently, WWE’s official Twitter account shared an image of a fan sign bearing the word ‘McInCryer’.
McIntyre would respond with an image of his own, featuring Triple H and a sign bearing the message:
“Who booked this cr*p?”
Both images can be seen below this news story.
McIntyre has also recently revealed the reason he’s still targeting CM Punk, despite the absence of the injured star from WWE television.
As can be seen in the video below this news story, McIntyre’s current focus is on Seth Rollins.
As previously reported, McIntyre’s current WWE deal reportedly expires in April 2024 with no new contract having yet been signed.
