Eva Marie Teases WWE Return And Feud With Bayley

After being signed to WWE in 2013, Eva Marie revealed in August 2017 that she had left the company after deciding to pursue other interests outside of wrestling.

Eva actually debuted on the main roster, but was moved back to NXT from 2015-2016. She then rejoined the main roster as a part of Smackdown in the WWE Brand Split, but did not wrestle on the blue brand before her release.

In an interview with Fair Game, Bayley was asked which feuds she enjoyed the most. While she commented on her beating Sasha Banks for the NXT Women’s Championship, Bayley highlighted her story with Eva Marie in NXT as a particular highlight.

Eva actually responded to the interview on Twitter, stating that the current Smackdown Women’s Champion taught her a lot “about in ring performance”. She also said that Bayley “always went above and beyond to show [her] the ropes”.

Marie would finish up the tweet by saying that she would come back to WWE just to work a programme with Bayley once again.

The tweet was not only noticed by fans, but also by Bayley herself. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion responded to Eva’s comments, urging her to come back to WWE for one more match.
