Two former stars have made their first appearance following their WWE departure.
Zack Gibson and James Drake, better known as The Grizzled Young Veterans, have officially left WWE and enter free agency after their contracts expired on October 14.
The duo are former NXT UK Tag Team Champions and were prominently featured on both NXT and NXT UK during their time in WWE.
They joined forces with Joe Gacy to form the Schism in 2022 with Ava Raine joining later on.
At the DPW Live 15 on October 15, The Grizzled Young Veterans made their first post-WWE appearance when they answered the open challenge of DPW Tag Team Champions The Workhorsemen of JD Drake and Anthony Henry.
The former NXT stars pulled out the victory in the Proving Ground Challenge to earn a future shot at the DPW Tag Team Championships.
The Grizzled Young Veterans are set to have their next scheduled match at the October 27 OTT Ninth Year Anniversary, which you can read here.
