A former WWE and IMPACT Wrestling star is set to make their All Elite Wrestling debut on tonight’s edition of AEW Dark.
Since the inception of the company, AEW has welcomed a litany of former WWE stars into the fold from Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley to Bryan Danielson and CM Punk.
While some talent felt AEW was the only option after leaving WWE, NXT’s Sawyer Fulton was different.
The former Sanity member spent five years with the promotion before being released in 2017. In 2019, Fulton joined IMPACT Wrestling and spent three years with the company.
All Elite Wrestling announced the lineup for tonight’s AEW Dark and revealed that Fulton will make his debut for the promotion on the show.
Fulton will team with Troy Hollywood and Ativalu to face The Dark Order in a trios match on the program.
Fulton’s contract with IMPACT Wrestling expired in August. His last appearance with the company was on the March 31, 2022 edition of IMPACT on AXS TV.
Fulton was aligned with Sami Callihan’s Ohio Versus Everything and Ace Austin during his time in IMPACT Wrestling.
