A new report has revealed internal discussions regarding a former WWE star joining Nick Aldis as “co-GM.”
As previously reported, PWInsider reported that former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis is slated to make his WWE TV debut on the October 13 episode of SmackDown.
Per the report, Aldis is set to portray an on-screen authority figure for the SmackDown brand moving forward.
WrestleVotes provided a further update, noting that sources have stated within the last month that there were ideas thrown around to see if Aldis’ wife and former six-time WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James would be interested in being a “co-GM” with her husband.
However, this doesn’t look to be happening at this time though.
WWE has announced that Triple H will be making an announcement on tonight’s SmackDown, which could be the debut of Aldis.
Nick Aldis has been working as a backstage producer for WWE since this past summer after leaving IMPACT Wrestling following a short stint.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Nick Aldis’ WWE TV debut and plans when they become available.
