A former WWE star has paid tribute to Triple H during a recent match in Mexico.

Former NXT star Catalina Garcia (Katrina Cortez) was released from the company on November 4, 2021, and has since been competing for CMLL in Mexico.

Catalina shared a clip of a recent match she had in the promotion, where she hit her opponent with a Pedigree, a shoutout to her former boss during her time in NXT.

Catalina shared the clip and a photo of her and Triple H together in NXT, along with the caption:

Hey @TripleH I’m just stopping by to say HOLA

Triple H re-signed numerous released WWE stars to the company when he took over as the head of creative following Vince McMahon’s “retirement” in July 2022.

Recently, Triple H has reportedly been ‘knighted’ by Endeavor to serve as the head of ‘99.9%’ of WWE creative instead of Vince McMahon at the request of Ari Emanuel.
