Former WWE NXT UK stars Mark Coffey and Sha Samuels were helping out at the recent WWE tryouts in the United Kingdom.
WWE held it’s latest tryouts at the UK Performance Center this week, with a number of European independent stars reportedly in attendance at the tryout, some of the names you can see here.
WWE recently signed a number of European stars, including Elio LeFleur, Dorian Van Dux, Tristan Angels, Will Kroos and Lizzy Rain, who all recently made their official WWE NXT debuts.
Released WWE Stars On Hand At Recent Tryouts
Taking to social media today, former NXT UK star Sha Samuels shared photos from the UK Performance Center at the recent tryouts.
Samuels was on hand to help out at the tryouts, as was former WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Mark Coffey of Gallus, who was released from the company last year.
He said:
Amazing being back at the UKPC for the WWE Tryouts, it’s been a class couple of days!!
Also got to pay my respects to the great Davey Coates
Coffey was a former NXT Tag Team Champion alongside Wolfgang during his time in the Gallus faction in NXT, as well as a former NXT UK Tag Team Champion.
The group were all released from the company last year, with them going on to sign with MLW last month.
New Wave Of Debuts On WWE NXT
Following the recent series of WWE NXT call ups, a wave of new faces have arrived on the NXT brand over the past few months.
Names such as EK Prosper, Elio LeFleur, the Vanity Project, Keanu Carver and Sean Legacy all made their debuts on the brand back in January and February, with them already achieving different levels of success, including Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes of the Vanity Project reigning as NXT Tag Team Champions.
On this week’s episode of NXT, more new faces made their debut on the show, the most notable being former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL, who confronted NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo on the show.
The show also saw the debuts of Will Kroos, Tristan Angels, Kam Hendrix and Tate Wilder, as well as the in-ring debut of Lizzy Rain after a vignette aired for her arrival last week on the show.
