Recent reports have circulated that WWE is interested in rebuilding their tag team division coming off the heels of several recent departures.

Over the past few months, The New Day have exited the company, while the likes of Motor City Machine Guns and The Wyatt Sicks were released during their recent mass talent cuts.

With the promotion looking to acquire some duos, there could be some noteworthy signings on their way to WWE in the near future.

Here are seven new WWE tag team signings potentially coming soon.

7. Enzo Amore & Big Cass

It was recently reported that WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore was backstage at the May 19 NXT TV tapings.

Meanwhile, it was also reported that Big Bill’s AEW contract is set to expire at the end of May or early June.

This led to rumors circulating that WWE could be discussing the potential reunion and return of Enzo and Big Cass sometime in the future.

While the most recent update has indicated that it may just be Enzo who returns to WWE, considering their popularity and signature catchphrases, “The Realest Guys In The Room” feel like an ideal signing for the WWE tag team division right now.

6. The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch)

At the tailend of 2025, The Righteous signed with TNA Wrestling and have since become a major part of their tag team division.

Prior to their signing with the promotion, there were discussions within WWE of bringing in the former AEW stars.

Vincent and Dutch have established characters that have seemingly worked in multiple different promotions and would not look out of place in WWE.

With the rebuilding of the tag team scene, The Righteous feel like a ready made act that can work on any brand in the company.

5. The Gunns (Colten & Austin Gunn)

The Gunns started as an up-and-coming duo on the All Elite Wrestling roster when they first arrived in the promotion.

However, Colten and Austin Gunn have developed into a formidable pairing that are now former AEW World Tag Team Champions.

With their lineage as the sons of Billy Gunn, it makes sense for WWE to potentially look at bringing them into the company.

Signing with WWE after departing AEW, The Gunns would be TV ready for the spotlight that the company has to offer.

4. The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows)

Since leaving WWE in February 2025, The Good Brothers have appeared for several different promotions around the world.

Whether it be Major League Wrestling, Maple Leaf Pro or Pro Wrestling NOAH, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have shown what has made them one of the most reliable duos in tag team wrestling.

While they have found a consistent home in NOAH recently, it might be time for a return to WWE for The Good Brothers.

Considering their recent return for the AJ Styles tribute show and his Hall of Fame induction, it feels like a fitting time for The Good Brothers to come back into the fold in WWE.

3. Boisterous Behavior (Leon Slater & Man Like DeReiss)

WWE has had their eye on the future of pro wrestling for a number of years and realize that the tag team division in NXT also needs some help.

Over the past year, the company has actively used former TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater as part of their working relationship with TNA Wrestling.

“The Youngest In Charge” has formed one of the most impressive tag teams on the UK independent scene with Man Like DeReiss called Boisterous Behavior.

Slater and DeReiss could use their experience as a pairing to easily become a pair of rising stars on the WWE NXT tag team scene in the near future.

2. FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler)

Recent reports have indicated that FTR’s AEW contract is set to expire in the next year, with WWE holding preliminary interest in their signatures.

While their future is uncertain right now, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler could make the decision to become free agents and hear options for all the promotions out there.

Considering WWE is interested in bringing back the former Revival, fans could see FTR deciding to head back to their former home promotion.

FTR returning to WWE could be an interesting scenario with the duo coming in to reclaim tag team gold and further cement themselves as one of the greatest tandems in company history.

1. The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy)

Another pairing that has more than made their statement in regards to being the greatest tag team of all time is The Hardys.

As part of the TNA Wrestling working relationship with WWE, Matt and Jeff Hardy made their return to the company and went on to win the NXT Tag Team Championships in 2025.

While they are the top draws for TNA right now, The Hardys may consider having one final run in WWE where they first made their names famous.

The Hardys re-signing with WWE could set up some exciting matchups with the likes of The Usos, The Street Profits and Lucha Bros that would once again elevate the tag team scene in a major way.
