While there will be plenty of great action throughout WWE Clash In Italy 2026, this PLE could also feature some interesting developments with stars betraying their allies.

Betrayals in WWE seem to often come on huge premium live events, and the first major show to take place in the country of Italy certainly fits that bill.

From family members turning their back on each other, to longtime alliances coming to an end, Clash In Italy 2026 might be remembered for heartbreak with some notable betrayals throughout the evening.

Here are six potential betrayals at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

6. Sami Zayn Costs Cody Rhodes Undisputed WWE Championship Against GUNTHER

On the May 22 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes defeated Sami Zayn in the main event.

Post match, GUNTHER attacked Rhodes and applied a sleeper hold. The more interesting part of this was the fact that Zayn watched on without helping his friend.

After undergoing a noteworthy attitude change in recent months, this seemed to signal that Sami had finally turned to the dark side.

After another tense meeting on this week’s SmackDown, Zayn can take it one step further by costing Cody the Undisputed WWE Championship when he defends against GUNTHER at Clash In Italy 2026.

5. Michin & B-Fab Walk Out On Jade Cargill Against Rhea Ripley

Ahead of WrestleMania 42, Jade Cargill formed an alliance with her former rivals Michin and B-Fab to take down Rhea Ripley.

Forming a stable with one another, Cargill, Michin and B-Fab have stood by each other’s side and become a united force.

This didn’t stop Cargill from losing the WWE Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42 Night Two though.

Now with this rematch set for WWE Clash In Italy 2026, fans could see Michin and B-Fab choose to leave Cargill’s side if she cannot get the job done against Ripley on May 31.

4. IYO SKY Shocks Rhea Ripley By Screwing Her Out Of WWE Women’s Championship Match Against Jade Cargill

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

Ripley received a timely assist from her longtime friend IYO SKY who fought off Michin and B-Fab at ringside.

Whenever she has needed an ally, it has been “The Genius of the Sky” who has been at Ripley’s side.

Despite being on different brands, IYO could shock the world by finally turning on Ripley and even costing her the WWE Women’s Championship during her rematch against Cargill at Clash In Italy 2026.

3. Paul Heyman Sides With Oba Femi After Another Win Over Brock Lesnar

After making his return in 2025, Brock Lesnar reunited with his longtime advocate, Paul Heyman.

This union wasn’t enough when Lesnar came up short in convincing fashion against Oba Femi at WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two.

This led to Lesnar removing his gloves and boots, leaving them in the ring and hugging Heyman to signal a retirement from in-ring competition.

While he has returned to set up a rematch against “The Ruler,” another loss for “The Beast” could see Heyman choose to betray his longtime client and find a new ally in Oba Femi coming out of WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

2. Royce Keys Betrays Jacob Fatu During Tribal Combat

Over the past few weeks, fans have seen Jacob Fatu and Royce Keys acknowledging their lengthy past with one another before they signed with WWE.

Having been friends while on the independent scene, Keys and Fatu forged a tight bond with one another.

With “The Samoan Werewolf” finding himself at odds with his cousins in The Bloodline, he might need his friend Keys to have his back as he prepares for Tribal Combat against Roman Reigns at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

Despite needing some backup, Keys could choose to go against his friend Fatu and remove him completely by costing him Tribal Combat to stop him from winning the World Heavyweight Championship.

1. The Usos Turn On Roman Reigns

The Usos have long been manipulated by Roman Reigns throughout their time in The Bloodline.

This led to many differences between the cousins over the years, but Reigns, Jimmy and Jey have reunited and are now back on top of WWE.

Despite this reunion, Jacob Fatu has become a threat to Roman’s status as “The Tribal Chief” continuing with the Tribal Combat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.

Not wanting to see how the power caused him to become a tyrant once again, The Usos could choose to turn their backs on Reigns and cost him this bout in favor of seeing what Fatu can do as the new leader of The Bloodline.
