Free Agent Discusses ‘Many Great Options’ In The Wrestling Industry AEW

A free agent has discussed the “many great options” in the wrestling industry.

In April 2023, Richard Holliday announced his departure from Major League Wrestling after five years with the promotion.

Despite a lengthy run as a top star for MLW, many fans were wondering if “The Airpod God” would get his big break by joining his old friend MJF in All Elite Wrestling.

As of the time of this writing, Holliday has yet to make the jump to a major promotion, but he has made appearances for various independent promotions, including GCW.

Speaking with the Under The Ring podcast, Holliday discussed all the options in the industry right now.

Explaining that if he ends up having to choose between two major companies, then he will choose the place where he feels like he can be the best version of himself, Richard said:

“I think that process, if and when it comes about, is gonna be one where it’s, where do I ultimately want to go?”

“Where do I ultimately feel like I am going to flourish and be the best version of myself and have a long career there? There’s a lot of great options.”

“The industry is very sublime right now, there’s so many great places to go and work and make a name for yourself and continue to etch yourself in history, however you want to spin it. There’s a lot out there.”

“I’ve got my eye on a few places and I like to think that they have their eye on eye. I’ve said this before, listen, I’m not in the boardrooms.”

“I wake up every day as me, I go where I go, I put on the performances that I put on.”

“Ultimately, if they want to underline my name in that said boardroom and have a discussion, then I’m open for it.”

Richard Holliday’s former home of MLW recently announced a huge dream match pitting Jacob Fatu facing a top NJPW star, which you can read at this link.
