Grayson Waller Works Out In Johnny Gargano Shirt

Grayson Waller may be getting ready to participate in the five-team gauntlet match for the recently vacated NXT Tag Team Championship titles along with his partner Sanga, but Waller hasn’t forgotten about one other foe.

Posting a clip of himself working out along with an incendiary caption:

“If you ever think you can’t do something, just remember to bet on yourself #WWENXT #AndNew”

Waller, well regarded for his Twitter trollery was clearly referencing Johnny Gargano’s farewell angle from NXT 2.0 which saw him getting assaulted by Grayson Waller with Waller later bragging that he ended the career of Johnny Wrestling.

Gargano was no stranger to the NXT tag team championships, holding them alongside Tommaso Ciampa as a part of the DIY tag team numerous times over the years (in between feuding with one another of course.)

 

Alongside Grayson Waller and Sanga, four other teams including Legado del Fantasma, The Creed Brothers, Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen, and Pretty Deadly, will take part in a gauntlet match to determine the new NXT Tag Team Champions.

The former NXT Tag Team Champions, MSK vacated the titles earlier in the week after Nash Carter was released by WWE.
