A big AEW grudge match has been announced for next week’s episode of AEW Rampage.
Back in August, Mike Santana made his return to AEW television after being out of action for over a year following an injury he suffered in the 2022 Blood & Guts match.
Santana returned alongside his Proud-n-Powerful tag team partner Ortiz, with the two men serving as the last two members of the Blackpool Combat Club’s team for Stadium Stampede at All In.
Following that match, the two went their separate ways, with the pair’s real life issues being played into their storyline that has been playing out on Rampage in recent weeks.
On last night’s show, the big grudge match between the two rivals was announced to take place on next week’s episode of Rampage.
This week’s show also featured the AEW debut of Mistico, who took on Rocky Romero.
Tony Khan also announced a ‘dream match’ for tonight’s AEW Collision show, which you can see here.
