IMPACT Wrestling has paid tribute to Jay Briscoe following his passing earlier this week.
On January 17, the wrestling world was stunned after the news of Jamin Pugh also known as Jay Briscoe passing away in a car accident at the age of 38.
Both WWE and AEW sent their condolences and paid tribute to the Ring of Honor Hall of Famer during this week’s NXT and AEW Dynamite episodes.
On Thursday, IMPACT Wrestling became the latest promotion to pay tribute on-air to the fallen wrestler with the start of IMPACT on AXS TV.
During the beginning of the show, an “In Memory Of” graphic was shown with Tom Hannifan narrating and sending condolences to the Pugh family.
Jay and his brother Mark Briscoe made their debuts in IMPACT Wrestling last year and won the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships in May 2022 at the Under Siege pay-per-view by defeating Eric Young and Deaner of Violent By Design.
The Briscoes held the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles for 43 days before losing the gold to The Good Brothers at Slammiversary in June.
Fans can now donate and send their condolences to the Pugh family on a donation page made by a friend of the family by clicking here.
