IMPACT Wrestling taped their most recent batch of television tapings last night (August 13), when they brought ‘Second City Slamm’ to Chicago, Illinois.

The tapings included a match to determine the number one contender for Josh Alexander’s IMPACT World Championship at Bound For Glory, when Eddie Edwards was victorious in an elimination match.

  • Knockouts Tag Team Championships: VXT (Chelsea Green & Deonna Purrazzo) (c) def. Mia Yim & Jordynne Grace

  • Bhupinder Gujja def. unnamed talent
  • Brian Myers confronted Gujja and offered him a title match. The referee refuses to start the match until he’s bullied into it. Gujja pins Myers and leaves with the IMPACT Digital Media Championship, but no title change was announced.

  • Heath attacks Edwards as he confronts Alexander.
