Jey Uso has sent a message to his cousin Jacob Fatu after his attack on he and the Bloodline on last night’s WWE Raw show.
On the Raw after WrestleMania 42, Jacob Fatu would step to World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, defying the Bloodline and staking his claim to the World Heavyweight Championship.
In the weeks since, The Usos have attempted to warn Jacob about defying the Tribal Chief, with them asking Jacob to fall in line, while Jacob vows to win the World Heavyweight Championship to provide for his family, just as Roman did as champion.
This led to a chaotic ending to WWE Backlash, with Jacob locking Roman in the Tongan Death Grip after the match, and again in the closing moments of last night’s WWE Raw show, before he would put Roman, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso through the barricade to close the show.
Jey Uso Sends A Warning To Jacob Fatu Following WWE Raw
Prior to Jacob heading to the ring for the Roman Reigns acknowledgement ceremony, Jey would attempt to talk some sense into Jacob, only for Jacob to attack Jey and leave him laying in the backstage area.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Jey sent a message to Jacob following the show, simply writing:
“I was just tryna help yo scary ass”
Later, Jey would add another story, where he threatened to ‘beat Jacob’s ass’ before Roman got the chance.
He added:
“Imma beat yo ass before the chief do”
Jacob Fatu & Roman Reigns’ Rematch Stipulation
With Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu seemingly on a collision course for a rematch soon, there are some potential stipulations we could see added to the second encounter.
With Reigns threatening that Backlash would be Jacob’s last night in WWE after Backlash, we could see a stipulation where Reigns vs. Fatu could become title vs. career, with Jacob putting his WWE career on the line to take Roman’s title.
However, with Reigns likely coming out on top, WWE should probably avoid running title vs. career, so as to not dampen the stipulation if Jacob loses, since there are no signs that he will be leaving WWE anytime soon.
With the recent emphasis on the Tongan Death Grip on WWE television, some stipulations that would work well would be either an I Quit match, or a Last Man Standing match.
