Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa Comment After DIY Reunion On WWE Raw

Johnny Gargano made his WWE return after five months away and reunited with his DIY tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa on last night’s Raw.

As previously reported, Gargano’s return came at the ideal moment to save Ciampa from an Imperium beatdown.

Gargano’s absence from our screens had seen Ciampa undertake a search for his missing occasional tag team partner which has now come to an end.

Both Gargano and Ciampa have broken their silence on their reunion, footage of which can be seen below this news story.

Taking to Twitter, we see a clearly overjoyed Ciampa reunited with his equally happy tag team partner along with a “Missing” poster that had been part of the search effort.

For his part, Gargano tweeted that “the boys are back” along with a slightly longer message reading:

“And as we all know from our past.. you have to stay after the lower third airs!)”

Together, DIY are former NXT Tag Team Champions, with Gargano being the first NXT Triple Crown Champion.

The pair had the Rivalry of the Year in the 2018 NXT Year-End Awards.

As noted in our earlier report, Gargano last appeared on WWE television back in May where he was eliminated in an Intercontinental Championship Battle Royal, though had infrequently worked some untelevised events between then and last night.
