
Now-former WWE star Kayden Carter has broken her silence on her WWE departure following the latest round of cuts.
Carter was one of 17 names recently announced to be departing WWE, with her tag-team partner Katana Chance also exiting the company.
Kayden Carter has now taken to Twitter to share a statement on her release, reflecting on her time with the company.
The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion wrote:
“From watching on the other side of the barricade at NXT to being in the ring getting to live my dream I am beyond thankful to WWE, coworkers, coaches, everyone behind the scenes and everyone who I was able to share a ring with..
“This is definitely not the end, and thank you to all the fans who stayed along for the journey, I look forward to see what my future holds !”
Confirming the date on which she becomes a free agent, she captioned her post:

Kayden Carter last wrestled on the April 4 SmackDown episode, competing in the Women’s Tag Team Championship #1 contender’s gauntlet match which was ultimately won by Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
Carter notably reposted a number of tweets from fans criticising her booking following this match.
