Kenny Omega Rejects Appearance On WWE Star’s YouTube Channel AEW

The friendship between WWE’s Xavier Woods and AEW’s Kenny Omega has been well documented over the years, with the Elite even making an appearance on Woods’ UpUpDownDown YouTube channel several years ago.

Both men are known for their love of video games, and both men believe they are the best at Street Fighter.

When Omega was called out by MMA fighter Demetrious Jackson for a game of Street Fight at AEW WrestleDream, Omega responded:

Anyone’s free to insult my wrestling ability but this cockamamie idea that you’re better at Street Fighter than me?! That makes it personal. For charity, I’ll do it – Heck, I can even put you in touch with @AustinCreedWins. You guys can bond over being losers, etc.

Woods then responded to Omega, challenging him to a game of Tekken on UpUpDownDown.

He responded:

1 – You got lucky

2 – Yall are both trash

3 – Neither of yall are man enough to play me in @TEKKEN

4 – I’ve got the place we can settle all of this @UpUpDwnDwn

Kenny responded to Woods’ challenge, saying that he was down to face Woods at Tekken 8 after he ‘tap danced all over’ Jackson.

He said:

Whoa whoa whoa. First thing’s first, (because I’m a busy guy) – I style a bit and tap dance all over DJ – AFTER that? Yeah, we can play Tekken. Tekken 8. Even playing field, buster.

Woods would then accept Omega’s challenge, claiming that the battle will be hosted on UpUpDownDown, as Omega ‘doesn’t ever do anything’ on AEW’s gaming channel.

He responded:

Perfect. Me vs @MightyMouse vs @KennyOmegamanX in a @StreetFighter/@TEKKEN/@MortalKombat gauntlet and obviously it’ll be on @UpUpDwnDwn since Kenny doesn’t ever do anything on his own company gaming channel…

Kenny would then once again fire back at Woods, saying that he also wouldn’t want to appear on UpUpDownDown.

He said:

I don’t wanna do anything for yours either. You’d better mosaic my face in post production.

It remains to be seen if the two stars will indeed collide in the Tekken ring, and if it will be recorded for either UpUpDownDown or the AEW Games channel.
