Kurt Angle has shared his honest thoughts on Randy Orton’s WWE return, believing that the company really needs to have the Viper around.
Orton made his WWE comeback at Survivor Series 2023, competing in the WarGames bout that headlined the premium live event.
This WarGames match was Orton’s first in 18 months, with the popular star stepping away from the ring to deal with a back injury in May 2022.
Speaking on his Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle noted that he’s glad to see Orton back on our screens.
Believing that WWE really needs Orton, Angle said:
“Yes, he looks like a Superstar. Randy Orton being back in the WWE, that’s the best news I’ve heard in a couple of years. I mean, Randy is really special. He’s an unbelievably talented individual and I think WWE really needed him.
“He does look great. I’m just happy he’s back because he really struggled with that surgery. Yeah, wasn’t getting better he was really frustrated and I’m just glad that he was able to make it back.”
Orton is now a SmackDown star, officially signing with the blue brand on Friday’s (December 1) show.
After signing the contract, Orton dropped general manager Nick Aldis with an RKO.
Aldis has now addressed this RKO, which you can read more about right here.
