LA Knight Championship Plans Potentially Revealed

A glimpse of a potential future for LA Knight happened before Money in the Bank on July 1, 2023 and it involved a WWE championship.

LA Knight may not have won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, but Triple H said “good things to come to those who wait” in the post-show press conference.

It could be that WWE have teased a potential championship that LA Knight could feud over on the UK tour before Money in the Bank.

Footage has emerged of Knight taking down the United States Championship at the WWE house show in Dublin, Ireland on June 29.

As can be seen from the video below this news story, Austin Theory celebrates his victory for the championship where he retained in a three-way match over AJ Styles and LA Knight.

Moments later, Knight takes down Theory, grabs the United States Championship and holds it aloft in the ring.

Theory has held the WWE United States Championship since Survivor Series: WarGames in November 2022.

Replies to the footage have shown support for the idea of Knight as a future United States Champion, including Photoshopping the title onto him.

Knight has addressed not winning the Money in the Bank ladder match, promising to make himself a champion regardless.

With SummerSlam coming up, there is currently no clear challenger for Austin Theory for the August 5 event.

Theory does defend his title on SmackDown at Madison Square Garden this Friday against Sheamus, who he already defended against a few weeks ago.
