VIDEO: LA Knight Lays Out World Championship Aspirations Following WWE Raw Appearance

Following his surprise appearance last night’s August 7 WWE Raw, the Megastar LA Knight has commented on his confrontation with The Miz as well as laying out his lofty ambitions for world championship gold.

Knight followed up his SummerSlam victory in the Slim Jim Battle Royal by showing up away from his designated brand of SmackDown to confront The Miz in Minneapolis, Minnesota’s Target Center for Raw.

After a war of words, Knight took down Miz with his Blunt Force Trauma finishing move, but he wasn’t quite done for the night there.

Following Raw, Knight appeared in a backstage interview on Raw Talk with Byron Saxton where he spoke of his issue with The Miz, however, perhaps more interestingly he would also hint at pursuing world title gold in the future.

Knight said it may be the Undisputed WWE Universal Title carried by Roman Reigns or the World Heavyweight Championship held by Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, or it could be both – regardless, he’s heading to the top.

This comment, as well as the beginning of his feud with The Miz, would suggest that Knight may perhaps become a Raw regular going forward, or perhaps WWE is realising how much the people love Knight and are planning to feature him on both Mondays and Fridays going forward.
