WWE
IShowSpeed made his WWE WrestleMania in-ring debut at tonight’s WrestleMania 42 Saturday event on April 18.
Speed teamed with World Tag Team Champions Logan Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision in three-on-three tag team action against LA Knight and The Usos in the opening match of the night on ESPN2.
Speed isn’t completely inexperienced in a WWE ring, having been in the 2025 Royal Rumble match for a couple of minutes and working a match at the Performance Center against Evolve and NXT star Anthony Luke/Kam Hendrix for his Speed Goes Pro show a few months ago.
The story heading into this match was that Speed didn’t exactly want to team with Paul and Theory, but they saw him as an asset and managed to convince him to join them.
Things were going well enough, but at one point, Speed pushed Knight into Paul and knocked Paul off the apron, which angered Theory and led to a blowup among the team.
After Knight and The Usos scored the win, Paul confronted Speed and struck him with a right hand, before setting Speed up on the announce table for his big Paul From Grace splash.
However, the opponents – Knight and the Usos – saved Speed and put Paul in position, which led to Speed landing a massive Splash of his own off the top rope through the table, which announcer Michael Cole dubbed the IShowSplash.

Speed then celebrated with Knight and the Usos in the ring, and if he continues with WWE, is firmly a babyface going forward.
Should IShowSpeed Have A Future In WWE
It has always been somewhat clear that IShowSpeed has had an aptitude for WWE and pro-wrestling similar to that of previous celebrity standouts Bad Bunny and Logan Paul.
Speed has made it known that he was a fan of WWE at a very young age – as young as 4 years old in point of fact – which means he knows exactly what this is supposed to look like and exactly how the fans are supposed to feel.
Couple that with his massive reach and his impressive athleticism, it’s no surprise at all that he and WWE have shown a mutual interest in working together for a few years now.
He did train at the WWE Performance Center last year for his Speed Goes Pro series, and got the stamp of approval from Randy Orton that if WWE was something he wanted to pursue, he’d be welcome to do so and would have a great chance of succeeding.
Tonight’s match seemed to be more evidence in that direction, and as long as it makes sense in lifestyle and financial terms, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him become the next version of Logan Paul, potentially even becoming a full-time member of the roster down the line.
