WWE are reportedly set to announce another upcoming major sports partnership following their recent deal with the NFL.
WWE recently partnered with the NFL, where they offer special custom championships for all teams in the league, which have made appearances on WWE television over the past few weeks.
Now, WWE’s next major partnership has seemingly been revealed.
Per WrestleVotes, WWE and the Big 12 Conference are nearing an agreement which would see WWE produce merchandise for the upcoming College Football bowl season.
They tweeted:
I’m told WWE and the Big 12 Conference are nearing an agreement which would allow WWE to produce licensed Big 12 merchandise focused around the upcoming college football bowl season. Another big step in the sports world for WWE.
In the recent TKO earnings call, Ari Emanuel noted that WWE are said to be open to more potential sponsorships, including the possibility of having sponsors on the ring mat for premium live events.
