See the haunting challenge Malakai Black laid out for Andrade El Idolo on tonight’s (July 8) AEW Collision.

After Julia Hart took on Bambi Hall and picked up the victory, the House of Black’s leader Malakai Black appeared in a vignette with a message for Andrade El Idolo.

Teasing a hard hitting incoming feud between the pair and after House of Black stole Andrade’s lucha mask, Black challenged Andrade to find out how great he can truly be without it.

Black pointed out that Andrade’s greatest success actually came after he took the mask off, not when he had it on, seemingly a reference to his time in NXT.

Black saying that together, they will cut the last vein that pumps blood into the heart of lies that Andrade has constructed around himself, helping him to finally prove how great Black knows Andrade can be.

In a backstage interview with Lexy Nair right after, Andrade responded to the threatening message by noting that he would recapture his mask because it had deep significance for him, his culture and his business overall.

Notably, Andrade el Idolo appeared solo and still without La Faccion Ingobernable members, seemingly signifying he remains solo in this feud.

Earlier in tonight’s show, CM Punk opened AEW Collision with a note of tribute to Owen Hart ahead of the tournament semi-finals.

Also, an AEW star seemingly quit his faction after the opening match.
