Find out why several former stars are reportedly ‘frustrated’ with WWE’s current merch including some specific complaints!
According to a new report from Fightful Select, after one of their former podcast hosts (perhaps you recall, current All Elite name, Will Washington from QuizzleMania?) was snapped wearing a recent iteration of the WWE nWo shirt sold by Fanatics, the streets had both eyes and thoughts!
In fact, Fightful heard that several members of the actual New World Order group were left ‘frustrated’ by the merchandise changes.
The report saying
“We’ve heard that numerous New World Order members felt like that including the WWE logo underneath the NWO logo undermined the spirit of the shirt.”
Another WWE star also reached out to Fightful to note that a similar situation had occurred in past years leading to some frustration with WWE Shop merchandise.
With the report noting that it was shared that stars previously held the sentiment that the inclusion of the WWE logo ‘authentic wear’ tag on the front as well as insistence on having text on the back of shirts may have negatively impacted sales.
This is a lot of tea being spilled after just a pic of a t-shirt!
