Mustafa Ali was recently released from WWE however has now shared more about his plans for the future after his exit from the company.
Sharing a photo of himself in a backstage area wearing a sharp looking suit, Ali captioned the photo with:
“MUSTAFA ALI x WORLD Tour

Based on that, it appears he may be keeping the Mustafa Ali name.
The move comes as many of the recently released stars await the expiration of their non-compete clauses, which vary in length of time.
As a general rule, main roster contracted talents are subject to 90-day non-compete clauses, while NXT contracted talents are subject to 30 days.
However, there can always be individual exceptions to those rules based on the nature/reason for the release, or even just terms negotiated into specific people’s contracts.
Amid the reactions to the WWE releases, a swell of support for Mustafa Ali, real name Adeel Alam, including fans and other wrestlers alike.
