A WWE star is set to wear Captain America-inspired gear for their match at NXT Great American Bash.
On Sunday, July 30, WWE NXT will hold their fourth premium live event of 2023 with The Great American Bash from Austin, Texas. One of the headline bouts on the card will see “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio defend the NXT North American Championship against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali.
In an interview with WWE Deutschland ahead of the event, Ali revealed what his attire will be for the Great American Bash. Intending to get under some fans’ skin with his gear inspired by the Marvel character Captain America, he said:
“I’m about to have the freshest drip on that show.”
Mustafa Ali wouldn’t be the first major star to wear Captain America-inspired attire this year with AEW’s Kenny Omega wearing similar tights for the Anarchy In The Arena match at Double Or Nothing.
Ali started appearing on the NXT brand after being dubbed “a free agent” during the 2023 WWE Draft.
