A new WWE SmackDown commentary team has debuted on tonight’s February 2 edition of the show since Michael Cole’s departure to WWE Raw.
After Michael Cole and Pat McAfee took over the two-man commentary desk on WWE Raw, fans were awaiting a new SmackDown duo.
Previous reports were confirmed as SmackDown hit the airwaves tonight (February 2) from Birmingham, Alabama with a brand new commentary team.
Corey Graves re-introduced himself to fans of the blue brand while also welcoming his new ‘tag team partner’, Wade Barrett.
For those interested, Corey Graves has also taken the role of the ‘lead announcer’, leading the broadcast and taking up the seat previously occupied by Cole.
The pair were on hand for the opening segment of the night, an in-ring promo from Logan Paul.
However the United States Champion wasn’t alone for long as he was joined by Kevin Owens after the pair went to war recently at the WWE Royal Rumble – the segment led into Owens vs Austin Theory with Paul joining Graves and Barrett on commentary for this particular match.
