New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that Jushin Thunder Liger will be appearing at the G1 Climax show in Dallas. The event is set to take place at the American Airlines Centre in Dallas, Texas on July 6th.
Jushin Thunder Liger has announced that he will be retiring at the Tokyo Dome in January 2020. This means that the G1 Climax event in Dallas could be his final match in the United States. Liger recently competed at G1 Supercard in Madison Square Garden.
The G1 Climax event in Dallas will be the first day of competition in the G1 Climax tournament. While the blocks have not yet been revealed, the show will likely feature four or five tournament matches.
Liger now joins Kazuchika Okada, Kota Ibushi, Tetsuya Naito and Jay White as the only men currently confirmed for the show. More announcements will come following the conclusion of Best of the Super Juniors and Dominion.
