The Man Becky Lynch managed to walk out of No Mercy 2023 with the NXT Women’s Championship, warding off Tiffany Stratton, however her win came at a cost.
Given the Extreme Rules stipulation, brutal action was to be expected, and Lynch unfortunately didn’t leave the match unscathed.
Following the bout, Fightful Select reported that Lynch suffered a laceration on her arm which required stitches afterwards.
The report noted that Lynch required 11 stitches total to close the wound, thankfully however, it was noted that Lynch was doing okay after this was done.
In a post to Instagram following No Mercy, Lynch uploaded several images from the brutal match, including a graphic image of the laceration suffered on her arm.

Despite tough competition from the NXT Championship match between Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov, Lynch and Stratton were awarded the opportunity to close the show in Bakersfield at No Mercy.
While Lynch managed to retain her gold, there were two major title changes at the event, as Trick Williams defeated Dominik Mysterio for the North American Championship and Ilja Dragunov dethroned Carmelo Hayes to become new NXT Champion.
