Photos are circulated online of Cody Rhodes staying “in character” during his wife Brandi’s birthday celebration.

Ahead of their rematch at WWE Night of Champions, Brock Lesnar broke Cody Rhodes’s arm. This led to Lesnar earning a victory with the Kimura over “The American Nightmare.”

Since then, Rhodes has been selling his arm injury by wearing a cast during his matches and promo segments on WWE programming.

However, it now seems that his selling of the injury has moved to outside the squared circle as well.

This weeks marks the 40th birthday of Cody’s wife Brandi Rhodes. To celebrate the occasion, the happy couple and a few friends went on a boat cruise and posted some photos from the celebration.

In the photos with Cody, he has donned his arm cast that fans would usually see him wear on WWE TV. This is proving how old school Cody is with him selling his arm injury outside the ring.

Cody Rhodes is set to face Dominik Mysterio at the Money In The Bank premium live event on Saturday, July 1.
