Who Has Been Pitched To Replace WWE Star In Money In The Bank Ladder Match Revealed WWE

A new update has emerged on another late change to one of the ladder matches potentially set for WWE Money in the Bank 2023.

At Saturday’s premium live event, two ladder matches will take place to determine the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank briefcase holders.

The lineup of the women’s match seemed uncertain before SmackDown, with Bayley forced to defend her spot in the match against Shotzi.

Bayley won that match, meaning the lineup is officially Bayley vs IYO SKY vs Zelina Vega vs Trish Stratus vs Zoey Stark vs Becky Lynch.

However, a new pitch has reportedly been discussed for this match, involving Charlotte Flair.

Per PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingAttitude), a pitch that has recently been making the rounds backstage involves Flair replacing Zelina Vega in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

According to the report, there has been no word on whether WWE is moving forward with this idea, and nothing was filmed during the SmackDown taping to set this up.

Flair was in action on SmackDown, challenging for Asuka’s WWE Women’s Championship.

The title match was called off after Bianca Belair interfered, leading to a brawl at ringside.

In the final moments of the show, The Usos confronted Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, ahead of their Bloodline Civil War at Money in the Bank.

A surprising match appears to have been chosen to main event the premium live event, which you can read more about right here.
