The opening segment of last night’s (May 31) Raw ran 8-10 minutes longer than originally planned. This resulted in the rest of the show being affected.
PWInsider reported the news earlier today along with additional details regarding the rest of the show. Because the Miz TV segment went long, several segments were shuffled around to accommodate the necessary time cuts.
Nothing that was slated for the show ended up being cut, rather just moved from their originally planned spots on the broadcast. They did not reveal which segments were moved, however.
The report did mention that the Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre match was not affected by these changes.
They also noted that Vince McMahon was not happy about the opening segment going long.
