Rejected Retribution Member Name Revealed

The names of Retribution’s members have taken the wrestling world by storm since Monday. Unfortunately for WWE, it has not been in a good way. Retribution members Slapjack, T-Bar, and Mace have had their names revealed, but what about the two female members.

Mercedes Martinez and Mia Yim have yet to receive new names. However, we now know what one of them was going to be called. The highly reputable WrestleVotes Twitter account has revealed a rejected name for one of Martinez or Yim. It isn’t much better than the others.

Guys, it gets better! Heard that at one point the females in Retribution needed names on Monday for TV. Thankfully that got scrapped.

Calling Martinez or Yim “Shatter” likely would have fit right in with the other names in the group.

It has been a running joke for decades that Steve Austin was given the names Chilly McFreeze, Fang McFrost, Otto Von Ruthless, and Ice Dagger for his ‘Stone Cold’ gimmick. While it has always seemed unbelievable, these names make it easier to comprehend. Well, maybe not comprehend, but at least believe that it could happen.
